One of the many joys derived from working with computer systems, is the ability to sit back, and see how my efforts to lasso the very essence and power of computers, have reduced the work-load of so many humans.  One thing in particular that I pride my self in, is the ability to automate myself out of a job, as it were.  If I have to repeat a task more than a few times, I usually write a script to handle the chore for me, the next time the task presents itself.  So, over time, I able to free-up my time, for allocation on solving still more issues.  Imagine how this innate ability can help in your own endeavor.
